Valentines' Day is round the corner! and LOVE is in the air~
Actually, love is in the air everyday. And of course, love doesn't only happen between couples but also our family, relatives, friends and you name it! But it's this day where you can officially intensify the showering of love on the people around you(friends also can give friends gifts one *HINT HINT*).

So I came across this story about love and decided to share it for this special occasion. This is the story of a girl who (i guess) got everything she (or any other person) wanted : a homecoming queen, a valedictorian for her cohort, and the guy who she loved and was in love with her since 11th grade. So after reading that, I believe that's what true love is about. "In SICKNESS and in health, till death do us part". And they weren't even bound by that vow before the wedding but yet the guy was willing to stay by her all those time. Saying this, it also reminds me of american idol chris medina whose fiancee had an accident before their wedding but they still wedded anyways.

Sometimes its quite sad to know that bad things happen to close people of good people.(abit chim here) But hey, its the bad things which let you appreciate the good things better. Its easy to be ok, its easy to be kind, but its even easier to be nasty. But then again, what's in it for you to be nasty to others? for that moment of "joy" or just to feel "belonging" to a clique. I'd rather be uncliqued and have happiness joy than this kinda sick joy then. A once-in-awhile fun is fun, but when somethings become a norm, its no longer fun anymore. Just because you didn't experience it doesn't mean you won't experience it in the future. Others are just nicer to not touch on your bad points and bring you down like you do to them. Don't wait till you meet an even nastier you to reflect or change your actions. Just think about the things you hate people to do to you, and you might be doing that very same thing to another person. I mean, the world won't be a worse place w/o the bad "jokes" will it?

When CNY holidays are over so fast...

Yes, this is what you get when you only have 2 days to celebrate a festive holiday which involves: visiting relatives all over the country, eating the unlimited goodies you can get your hands on, collecting red packets everywhere you go and of course, the 'friendly exchange' of cards and monies (which can very likely last overnight). How to squeeze all those above into the time frame of 48 hrs?? not to mention we still gotta take away those hours for adequate rest and -.- studies ("festive assignments" =.=). So yeah, here we've got it...POST-CHINESE NEW YEAR SYNDROME! It's even stated in the newspaper so it's definitely a BIG deal. I'm now still kinda in a CNY mood and my readings don't ever seem to end - stuck at one pile for a super duper long time!!! Weekends aren't even an option cos of the visitings i wanna go to...and come to think of it, it's already week 3 into my school semester. that's pretty fast! okay den, gotta overcome my syndrome and go do more readings =/

CNY is coming! Have you bought your new clothes yet?? I've manage to get one today. it's a zebra-themed one sleeve top. haha, recently dunno why always end up buying a one-sided top. but its just nice the design is interesting and most importantly, within my budget. I realised the CNY clothes i bought for many past years are really just for CNY only. Super wasteful, but i must admit i tried to wear them on as many occasion as possible already. just happened that i'm not those kind of people who likes over-dressing (sometimes even too lazy to simple-dress i guess? haha =X).
It's time of the year where all the last-minute house cleaning and packing and buying of goodies come again. Busy busy. But then again, it'll all be great when the ang bao starts rollin' in {>(oo)<} haha =D Well, my CNY goals are to learn more tricks in the game of mahjong and maybe pick up a few new games along the way~ Of course, must keep my fingers crossed for the yearly ban luck w my family. Wonder what's horse zodiac like this year hmmm... But anyways, a brand new year (on both english & chinese calendar) has arrived! stepping into the 3rd decade of my life and trying to embrace the "new world" with both hands, feets, head, stomach and wadever, I've came to realise that life isnt always easy, but we'll just have to keep going & growing strong. Decided to remove my tagboard since nobodys write on it anyways *sob*. i believe this place will soon become a place for me to release my unhappiness, with all the complains and stuff soon to come my way (i foreseed it, guru style). I was actually glad that i got to "take up" (its not 100% confirmed yet) a project that i'm interested in and thought this sem might just havea rather good beginning. but no, there's not ONLY this one, there's another, and now i've heard, there's one more -.- omg! will i ever survive this sem?? i have no idea...i guess i only have myself to blame, taking up more projects and stuff. but hey, i would really really like to see how the 'real world' works. really hate when my passion comes and life just doesnt work in favour of it. W-H-Y like this??? I would really like to know the answer. so LIFE, if you're seeing this, can you tell me why are you always finding ways to make it hard for me? Pls reply me through my sleep (cos thats the fastest way and if you've noticed, i've removed my tagboard).

it's so weird how sometimes u do a certain things a certain way, and when the others dont reciprocate the same manner, it's kinda disappointing. maybe not everyone is as sensitive, maybe not everyone does stuff like you.
its funny how sometimes how you hated when people bend your rules, but on certain occasion its 'okay' to another to twist the same old principal. maybe its an oversight, or maybe its just pure favourism.
actually, people are observant creatures. they do, they observe, they conclude and they make sure they do stuff that will continue to make them happy (or happier), or just stop doing stuff that'll make them sad. The procedure is simple : if whatever you did makes everyone happy, continue to do it; if whatever you did makes you sad, stop. I mean there's no point in doing something that'll dampen anyone's mood. you could've spent the time doing something u liked better, and makes you much happier too. Sure, some will call it being selfish...but hey, there's always a reaction for every action. Do review the process before the name calling.
Well, a brand new year is coming, leave every bad memories behind and bring forth the good ones. This just means to enjoy every moment and bring out that smile whenever a problem arises. Change for the BETTER and know that improvement is possible for ANYONE. Like Gandhi once said "Be the change that you wish to see in the world". Only when you do it, can you expect others to follow yr footsteps.

Christmas is finally here!! happy max ^o^
Christmas is the season of joy, love, and of course, presents =) muahaha...
got a cute little baby from my sis, a voucher from my lil' sis, and of course, the calendarbum from dear <3
so this year's christmas, my family is spending it at gentings, all of them but mee =/ yesss..but on the bright side, imma gonna watch 'WICKED THE MUSICAL'! yeah, been looking forward to it for some time alr, and its finally here =)
so we began with eating the 'good food'. haha, by good food i mean food that are rather expensive and not our usual style of cuisine haha. but anyways, its rather satisfying! *thumbs up!* its this jap restaurant by the water fountain called : TONKICHI. tada~

it was a rather good musical. wasnt really understanding much of it at the very beginning, but eventually...i did! its kinda like a prelude to 'the wizards of Oz' story. now i know how dorothy, dodo, tin man, strawman & lion came about (good educational musical huh). It lasted about 3 hrs loong (kudos to the casts who hada work so hard), but i guess they enjoyed the applause and atmosphere too~
It's my first time going into MBS grand theatre, looks pretty big but the sound wasn't as good as expected. Guessed cos the whole theatre was too big to begin with, and a relatively small stage to go along. maybe they should put plays into smaller theatres and just concerts (purely for the music musical) in this kind of theatres...
But anyways, its still a musical to look forward to and it didnt let me down =) I guess by the end of the show, both of us were WICKIFIED.

Sooo, I've been rather vexed since sem began about the whole friendship thingy and it was re-ignited again today when I went for my make-up quiz. Cos when I was there, I found that I couldn't talk to any of them (the make-up peoples), I guess they didn't wana talk to me either...
So I was distracted from my studies and I wrote down a namelist of who are the people(from uni cos they're the ppl who I have to face day in day out) who I cant click with and who are those I can, and I suddenly came to realise that I have more good friends than those lousy ones. (Yay!) I mean, I know why I've been down and its becuz those who I cant click are mostly by my side. Its ironic how we cnt click but some we have to hang out tgt most of the time (dunno if they feel the same way too hmmm...) But one things for sure, life likes to make things difficult and we have to find our own way out. I mean, I could have made a decision to leave n not see those ppl as often, but the choices in life are not as easy as it seems. For one, we're in the same course + cohort and we have to see each other in every other lecture. And for two, we have mutual frens who are more mutual then you can imagine. I really wonder if I have to work with them in the future. Of course I don't mind working with nice people, but if we cnt click means we'll have nth to gay about which means everyday will be quiet n everyday can go emo alr. bleahs! Don't want man, nono.
Hais, as I grow older, I believe in studies lesser n lesser, which in turn makes me not wana study and even worse, cnt absorb any stuff. The stuff I'm studying are incomprehensible and I don't see myself doing them in the near or far future =X
Its amazing how the ppl ard me are getting smarter while I'm stuck in my own sphere. I tink I have to go out more and explore the rest of the world, get a glimpse into the lifes of others and not be so narrow-minded and get all worked up over the small stuffs.
Of course, I'm ever so grateful for having a fantabulous bf, family, and friends (these are my special friends who laugh at my lamest of jokes and just hang out with me for wadever reasons) <3
The lousy people just makes me appreciate whatever that's not as lousy as them even more. So I gotta be grateful for coming across them too. =P Muahaha~ but p.s., don't stay too long, aligatok. =)

I'm studying for my test next monday and decided to escape for a lil' while to blog.
you'll myt think studying for a monday test now is kinda early but wait till u see my schedule:
friday - lectures plus proj ALL THE WAY
sat - potentially proj last min matters & assist my sis with her wedding preparations
sun - sis big day! prepare prepare prepare!
mon - test
...
it's 22 days to the start of my final exams..and 33 days to the end of it.
oh, did i mention the 1 day for my sis wedding, 1 day for my bday, 1 day for my proj presentation plus bday dinner, 1 day to celebrate w my jc fren, 1 day for eg presentation, 2 days(min) to practice my speech for presentation, 1 day to do my 2 lab reports, 33 hours approx left of lecture, 20 hours of traveling...*does some abacus move* i'll be left with 12 days(max) to study for my 4 exams.
yep, all my good things tend to happen within a month of exams, which makes them 'lose' their goodness...but dream on exams! i'll never let u take the good stuff away from me!!! rawr! but okay, time to go study again.

I have sooo many things on hand. Wedding stuff for my sis, Project submissions, Homework completion, presentation slides + rehersals, birthdays birthdays birthdays. It's supposed to be the BIG twenty first, but i dont really feel exceptional. Everything (that's to do w schooling esp) that's happening now is blocking me from the happiness. School's just dumb. I havent started revision (how can i even have the time to study), but i cnt wait to get over and be done with my exams.

It's 12hours to midnight, 12hours to my proj completion. And i'm like only 10% done. I have soo many stuff to complain about, but (as expected) no time to do so. Well wish me good luck everyone!

i know i kinda was different during the start of the semester. i didnt want it that way either, it's just that sometimes when u reach the breaking point and went beyond it, everything gets affected, intentionally or not. i know nobody will hear it but i just hope everything will be fine again =)

just went on fb. there's the new layout and stuff which is rather confusing and i can see many people complaining. butt i tink it's rather good as u can see more happenings at once. like who's online, what ppl are commenting and liking, the top news as well as the latest updates. and i saw someone who was supposed to be sleeping hmmm..oh well, technology is getting even more complicated. and dunno why but i came across a comment (not from fb fyi) that "why are we checking out networking sites when we shld be reading books" and i tink that's damn right. i could gain so much more frm reading than checking out what mary did and tom ate. i might not even talk to them in real life! thats the problem with networking sites nowadays. connecting people in the virtual sense and making them even unconnected in the real life. #wished i could turn back time and everything could go back to the good old days whereby the only way to communicate is talking face to face. -sigh-

it's the time in my life where almost anything that can go wrong, went wrong. i'm slowly correcting it bit by bit, but i know it cant be done overnight. everyone have their life to live and life goes on no matter how good or bad the day is. so why not make the best out of everyday and see everything in a better light right? hmmm, easier said than done when there's one good thing and 99 others bad. Butt it's just like you have 1 good friend and 99 other just friends, its the 1 good friend that really counts, and stays. others just drop by and leave. They may leave marks in yr life(good or bad), but they as long as time ticks on(oh finally this is a GOOD thing), these days will be over sooner than you think ;)

Had a chat with my friends recently. The contents weren't great but it felt good nevertheless! School's getting busier with all the deadlines and tests starting to pop up one after another. It's the time of the semester again where i will not be able to meet deadlines and have to burn both the midnight candle as well as those 1am, 2am, 3am candles etc. The candle industry must be making loads from these man (*ting! good business idea*) haha. Oh yeah, the moon-cake festival is here again! people, please dont forgot to just buy some candles (can u totally feel the profit for this business??) and go downstairs, wherever u may live, and just light and burn them. This is the only time for us to play with fires and be a kid once more! and also to escape the energy-sucking-assignments/tests/projects that are piling up by the days. call me childish but i will never get sick of playing candles, sparklers and lanterns <3

School's becoming busier by the day.

I've been feeling detached from this particular group of friends as a whole (of cos some contributed more to this feeling). Dunno if they feel that way too. Hoping it's just the "school-reopening" syndrome i'm getting now. Cause we'll be friends till who knows when. And i have to get rid of my easily-distracted-me asap, cause it's dragging me behind and making me procrastinate (yikes!). I guess friends come and go, but i'm trying hard to make peace with the certain few terrible homosapiens that i have to see so frequently, it might actually kill me. haha...ok that's me complaining again. but then again, that's what blogs are for..right? =) gwwaa, people are getting too complicated nowadays. i can no longer see who's real and who's fake.

okay, tink the planning for my sis's wedding is beginning. i'm excited! though i know there's every chance i might have to burn the after mid-night oils when it happens. but doing something interesting is definitely worth it! and doing it for my sis is double the worth, cause she's the one who's (mostly) always there for me. haha. dont blame me for saying that cos u're always not at home in the past =X

soo, recently i heard about my fren's new sem's resolution. i wana make mine to. it's

1) get rid of my jail [the place that makes me stuck for some time, allows only to write on walls & get poked by others >> fb of course]

2) attempt all tutorial questions

3) ignore the evil(this is the first time i'm using this word to descibe a person, cause it's really mean!), and acknowledge the good. "cause 2 bads doesn't make a good. but 2 goods makes it too good to be trued. =P"- yup, this is my quote again haha.

haha, the poetic me just came out of nowhere...went to meet sarah today..it was a great ketchup session for me =) hope she likes the present i gave her~ happy twenty first bday sarah.

oh ya, went to my auntie's hse earlier on and saw baby kasper already walking! he's getting cubbier by the day but looking so ever cute. now he knows how to speak a little and make sounds like "ha ha, ho ho, heh heh" hahaha, can't be any cuter than that! Best thing is he is not afraid of strangers....thus, we all got to carry him. So this baby is definitely : carriable.

I'm back to watching running man again. haha, all their nonsense..really missed my days in korea..best hotels i've stayed in and i rmb liking the schedule loads cos it's the holiday where i don't feel tired when i'm awake =)

had a boring day at home packing my shelves and tutoring my sister. the only high point of today was the arnorlds dinner where my sisters and i played the tonging machine and we won a small prize. yep it's the little things that makes your day. hmmm, i didn't know why i suddenly tot of what would i want to be in the future...maybe a famous speaker? the first person who came to mind was ellen. omigoodness, so long never watch ellen degeneres already..miss her show so much. it was the show that made my day everytime when i got home every 5-6pm..hais..come back to channel 5 please!...hais..dunno why uni didnt become a high point of my life..almost everyone tells me to treasure the remaining time i have in school but...i just cant wait to go out to work..i know it might not be my ideal job but at least the money is rolling in..or so i tink..hais..why is life so complicated...i miss tv, i miss piano, i miss staying at home where i have stuff to do and i miss my derek..hais..please lemmi be addicted to smth for now..anything will do...anyway, gonna watch movie and there's this cuties jeremy and justin dancing to the lazy song, they're so adorable!! catch them when you can!

Yup! Food and it's here again! Had home-cooked food (by chefs not older than 21years) for the past 2 days and surprising to say, I'm lovin' it! When School is beginning...again

This sem is gonna be a whole new sem. Half way through, half more to go. Where to? I have no idea, but i don't really enjoy the 'culture' in uni as much as many do. I mean..come to think about it, there's the tons of lectures which i can skip and tutorials that i don't even need to hand in for checking, uni should be "the place" for students. But i guess i'm just old fashioned and kinda like the traditional way of life back in the days where uniforms are necessary. Back then, there were the teachers i can approach for help and tables i can call my own. I'm not stereotyping all uni profs as unapproachable, but the uni way of life (for total newbies) doesn't give the students the necessary avenue for past year papers to practice on (and answers to check) and so I dont really know which are the stuffs I don't know and what to ask. This said, some lectures really just 'lecture' without making the learning interesting, which really just bring down the whole morale for me. These past 2 years, there's some modules which i understand, and some that i don't have a clue about...especially stuff with calculations (and sadly, calculations is kind of my forte =/). I tink among my course-mates, i'm one of the few unexpected ones who entered the course and the fight for survival has definitely taken a toll on me. But having said that, i know that sometimes when things get really bad, just know that it could have been worse. =) yep quote me on that heh heh heh. So, just make the best out of what my life has to offer and look forward to the future~ that's where i'll earn big bucks and travel around the world [pipe dreaming-smoke free of course]. Ok, so here's a motivational quote to keep everyone going!

[16-7-11]Went to my papa's company cross country and i finally ran a total distance of 3.2km! I know that's nth much but to me, it's a huge accomplishment. Though my legs are making a clear statement that they are definitely not running anytime soon again =/ Even so, i'm super happy =D Why?? Because i won the 3rd prize in the lucky draw! Wooohooo~ it's kinda like a first lucky draw win i ever had. Maybe my 20+ years of luck has finally begin to start overflowing out of the storage system. Double yay to that! =)

[17-7-11]A special thanks to limmy who didnt forget us when she went to Germany! =) She gave us each a postcard of KONIG LUDWIG II and a cute 4 coloured pencil. The designs on it are adorable too! (oh oh, plus a yummy chocolate bar that got gobbled in less den 2 chews >.<)

[18-7-11] Went Da Paolo Gastronomia (what a name!) and tried out white chocolate crumble (crumble was gooood) and the coldest potato salad yet. Easily filled our stomachs to the brim tonight. But didnt get to try the black rice thingy that we wanted though. Next time perhaps =P Thanks for the sweet supper <3

Today is my mom's birthday and my family decided to celebrate it in m'sia! We didnt have a solid plan of what to do, and so it's kinda like free & easy for everyone, except we're stuck in city square, hahas. After awhile, everyone ended up "gathering" on the first floor seats due to symptoms of leg-tiredness (but actually, i have a feeling is nothing left to shop). So my sister suggested proceeding to another place called holiday inn. Luckily for us(tourists), there were manny more stuffs available(and cheaper) for purchase! Bought quite a lot of goodies there, able to last me the next few days i guess =) heh heh heh, and we bought our mommy a yummilicious-looking-mini-happy-birthday-cupcakes too!

Look wise, the cupcakes were pleasing to the eyes. But taste wise, uh uh, cake will be a much better choice. Well, we gained some cupcake experience sooo, not too bad! Oh yeah, did i mention our lunch that day? My sister, derek & I shared a mega meal from this western stall. And when that huge (i mean really huge! at least hugest i've seen so far) pile of chicken came, i could'nt resist snapping a shot for memory. you know you know...
Yup. and the shocking thing is, it's only made up of 8 pieces of chicken. Incredible. Okay so skip to our dinner part. We had dinner at taman eatery again. Looking forward to my crayfish dish as seen in my last few posts =P But this time round, the crayfish wasn't really what i was hoping for. Perhaps it's the new way it's cooked or i miss the cereal or maybe i was new to crayfish that time and so it tasted nicer. But anyway, they still tasted not bad! Tried the stingray, some egg (which i forgot the name again -.-) and beggar chicken. haha! the chicken's surprisingly not bad! It reminded me of the paper-wrapped chicken in singapore, except they named it beggar's chicken. haha, unique name huh. And den, my father (unable to resist the temptations from nearby durain stall), went to buy a "mao shang wang" durain. hmmm, the shell looks freshly green and the thorns are beautifully pointy.
Okay, nothing much to say abt durains except my sister said singapore's mao shang wang is fantastically great. And, i spotted the similarity between my mom's y-l-m-h-b-c and my blue nails, so i decided to snap snap again =D such a good color coincidence! <3
yeps, and we bought a cookie-monster & elmo shirt, nope not from sesame street but from holiday inn >.< haha..i bought a patrick one tooo! cant wait to wear it.
yup, hoped everyone enjoyed the time in m'sia and perhaps we'll all have a chance to go overseas together again! Okay, so today, i dedicate my quote to my mama. "You're not 40+, you're just 18 with 20+ years of experience!" =D

Kam Boat Lunching

We bought a groupon for Kam Boat Cantonese Restaurant and went to try the dishes out..The place was kinda out of the way though, and not many people were inside the restaurant while we were there too..so here are the dishes that we tried (we try to make the bill as close to $25 =X)

First time in Istana was leg-tired but enjoyable~ Had loads of fun serving the people there although i didn't manage to catch any conversation by the guests (which some of my kpo frens did haha). But the food there was not bad! yummy mee siam, tang yuans and hokkien mees. what's more, they're all freeee~ haha, not bad huh! And i learnt some stuff, one that applies to both play, work and life, which is..."the belly rules the mind"-Spanish proverb. And we were happy people when we left Istana =)

Picnic By the Dam

Finally! I manage to have a picnic. And finally! I manage to flya kite. And it all happened on the same day, the very first day of the month =)

So we went to marina barrage with all the foodies that we bought (but mostly made) earlier =D There's lime honey,veggie crackers, mashed potatoes, fruit bowl, vege combo, guatamelo sauce, ham, ice ice ice..you name it, we've got it! heh heh heh..

Yeps, making vege-mashy-hamful-pita with his gifted arty talent.
And then, i spotted a heart-shaped cherry! yummy!
Ok so after the appetizer, we decided it was time to test our kite flying skills again (yep, we tested it on monday and failed miserably =/). So after flying awhile, I started to see many many patterns slowly appearing.. Hence, i decided to create 'KITE FLYING 101'-by derek. Then we went to visit the water-recycling museum and took a few pictures.

We wanted one with the backdrop of the flyer but the system isnt working too well..so we took one with the barrage instead. But terrible, we dint know how to position ourselves and this was the best shot we got out of the machine...

Spent a wonderful time @ the barrage and disgesting all the food we made. *yum yum* looking forward to another picnic! but missing my crayfish badly... Cant wait for 13june to go eat CRAYFISH! <3

Working @ Istana

Today, I went to Istana to work in banquet-style. First time doing this kind of job and ended up with blisters and all but the experience was rather nice as i managed to enter the Istana banquet building and of course, meet the president(although he dint notice i'm there but that is nevertherless meeting him k). Haha, good experience but i dont think i'm cut out for this banqueting kind of stuff. So, i'll just have to look to other jobs to see where my passion lies. Hopefully this pay comes in quick as i have manny manny debts to pay and stuffs to buy! heh heh heh..ok so for today, i shall dedicate my quote to job. A slice of my life

People say ignorance is bliss. Well, i guess so. but learning the art of ignorance can be real difficult. and also, why ignore the stuff around you? I'd prefer to join in and be a part of it. Even just being there (to me) makes a difference.

Life's tough. But we gotta move on. My mom is a really strong woman and I wana be just like her. And although he didnt physically join in, i know my father is giving me support quietly. Thanks to my sisters who are always there for me through my difficult times. Without them, I duno how i will be able to survive. And to my awesome few frens who didnt give me up no matter what. I'll always be grateful to what you've done for me.

I know i cannot do it immediately, but i'll try slowly. You have your beliefs and I have mine. Guess all these for you just ain't enough. Anyway from the response, it's me for the better.

Well, it's not good brooding over unhappy stuff. I'll just end you here.

School's starting soon. Heard it's pretty tough but i'm looking forward to it (Although i'm looking more forward to working =X). Uni's really not my cup of tea, coffee or wadever.

Anyway, i'm beginning to enjoy listening to "a slice of life" by eugene loh recently. I think it's very soothing and the stuff he says are so true. Here's a slice for you =)

A Yummilicious Day!

Today, I went shopping with my lil' sis @ Bugis & brought her to eat yummy desserts @ a dessert house! Woot~ nicee nicee food!
And we explored around with her phone's cam. I tink i'm more into taking photos now. Yeah~ diff angles, diff views. All artistically taken by me but mostly by my sis. hahaha.
K, so first up are the different desserts. This one is grass jelly in carnation milk. Not too sweet and filled with cutely cut jelly cubes. Nice!
And this's watermelon with sago. My Dish! heh heh heh. This one v diff from the first dish. It's very sweet & has many of those transparent sago spheres. Haha dunno why today's food has gotta do so much shapes. =)

Our third dish is the peanut paste. Our first time trying this dish. We called this cause this house is famous for it's different flavoured pastes and so we definitely had to try one of them! It's warm at the right temperature. Not too sweet but does have a lingering peanut taste. But I tink this dish doesnt go well with the other 2 cos we eat le den eat this.....aiyo just try not to mix hot and cold dishes.

Ah ha! caught my sis msging guys. Muahahaha~

No la kidding..she's figuring out her cam's photo function. To take the beautiful pictures above and below. Yes, and look at our desserts in their original colours. Yummy right =)

Then, we went Kou Fu to have dinner & celebrate my da jie's birthday! *TADA* that's me and my lil' cousin bro posing at the foodcourt. the "olden days" mode. haha.

We had to search for my sis & her bf. There were so many people there!

Ahhh, no worries. There, i spotted them!

Hahaha. Okay, here's the birthday gurl and her 'mahjong inspired' cake. HUAT ah!

Woohoo..just returned home from watching my cousin perform guitar. HAhaHA! had a blast there with my sister and auntie. We were so funny la! Okay, so by some kind of fate, we were seated at the last row...all the way to the back yesss..haha soo, this means that we can have all the freedom we want to stand/sit/squat etc etc. and so, we grabbed all the opportunities presented to us =) Oh yeah~
Haha. Okay actually, we were poised and calm before the recess break. Then after that, it was Andrew's performance! Of cos we had to be crazy! it's in our blood! (BIG SMILE! =D) haha..so my sister screamed and kept her video on..as for me, my hands were busy clicking away..i had to wait till the end of the performance to prepare my lungs and scream for ah zhu!!! HAHa, even the person in front of us was shocked (by my sister's scream not mine =P) haha! Ammaazzing..
At the end, my cousin was also in the performance and he was hidden behind rows and rows of performancers..So, of course, we had to wave like crazy and do star jumps...eh, no no no wave jumps to try to get his attention! But aiyo, fail. he didnt manage to see. So sad. hmmm but anyway, i had so much fun! Looking forward to 28Aug! =]

Yeah, this's the movie everybody's talking about. but it's really a good catch since AVATAR!
pretty, handsome, funny, charming and of course witty.
I just realised the above poster has a word-to-actor ratio. Even their ads must be so brain-cells comsuming..hahaha..ok the show's storyline is not like normal ones where the ending is always fairytale style..but this Leonardo ah, keep doing shows which has tail-as-head scenes and keeps the viewers guessing the ending (shutter island too!)

Today, i'm gonna do the point system. By adding and subtracting the boons and banes of my outing with Veron =)..

So the day came (15/6/10) that veron promised me to help me de-stress from all the studying and daily happenings..and so we did this..

First, we went to get out dinner (Fan Cai).

Then, veron led me to the start of many steps opposite Vivo. The steps led to a darkening opening but Veron insisted that it's 100% safe. So, up we went.

*PIACK* One of our Fai Cai actually fell out of the plastic bag and kena smashed into the ground.

and it's mine!!! ahhh! haha budden veron became the one sadded over my food drop. haha she kept complaining abt my poor packet of rice..must be sad over the fact that ltr need share with me her packet cos we 2 are really hungry people =X hahaha..

To think that morning i went swimming somemore..my legs are like suan si le..and Veron still ask me climb steps to de-stress...

Yes, Veron said we must faster find a good spot becos ltr alot of other people will occupy them. And i look around and see one man exercising. Haha..wad is this! haha..

"ARHH our spoon!" yep. there goes our spoon..we looked helplessly at the spoon..haha So Veron tot of an ingenius plan to get another "spoon"..there it is below...

This spoon worked great...at the beginning. At first, it could carry rice, vege and toufu..Then it reduced it's load to rice and toufu..then rice..Then spoil -.- [minus away the 1/2 again]. yep..poor us..no rice, no spoon! why like this! ahhaa luckily, i ate finished my portion and gave her my spoon..then she gobbled up the remaining rice..hahaha..hungry person

for drinks, veron brought two bottles of ice tea. except that she had forgotten to remove the bottles from her freezer till it was time to leave her house..so we literally had ICED milk tea. Haha. But the weather was getting warmer so very soon the Ice melted into liquid. Yes! Cool, sweet, tasetful liquid [plus 2!] =) Yummy!

Veron also brought my fav porky [i have to plus 1 for this!]..

After which, we went around to take photos with the pretty little houses and the amazing night view [plus 1 plus 1 plus 1]

heh heh so we chit chatted till slightly darker..den Veron decided it's getting too dark and we gtg. So she took out her mini-me torchlight. BUT THE TORCHLIGHT WENT OFF!! [minus 1] the steps down were like in total darkness alr...craziness! i'm so not gg down those steps in that total darkness -.- somemore we two girls..and this veron..u know..anway, i encouraged her to not risk her life (and mine muahaha =X) so we walked to one small complex called the J (jewel) box. We went to use the toilet [plus 1/2] becos veron's bladder was like overflowing. Luckily the waitress there was quite nice and did not turn poor veron and her full bladder away. Haha. Ok then we were told a shuttle bus will be arriving shortly to fetch people to Vivo. *tada* hope! haha..then we saw the bus and decided to double confirm by asking the valet-man whter if it's the correct one.

"Yes" [plus 1]

"but our guest have piriority so hafta see whether there's space left aft the guests boarded the bus" [minus 2 =(]
the last few minutes there's guests like piling up by the side. I tot they were rich people with cars jus parked a few slots away and yet still hire the valet services (rich people spend $$ so easily) but no. They're waiting for the same bus =(
So one by one they boarded the bus..Phew! miracles happen. [plus 1] there were 2 seats left for us..MUAHAHA! totally a miracle. So we decided to rmb this miracle by having some snapshots of us in the bus..hahaha

Ok then more walks and walks and walks (my legs aching terribly by now [minus 2] and then we arrived at marina bayfront! =) wow! it's so nice there. The architecture, structures and lightings all look so nice in the night sky. The buildings there were twisted and turned in sucha nice way. All surrounded by water. Like a seaside hut. Nice nice nice =)

Then Veron brought me to this restaurant by the waters and treated me to a delicious cake. Yummy!! I really like the bottom part esp cos it's cookie-like crispy =) [plus 2] I think i ate super fast cos I was so hungry. Veron ate quite fast too. In abt 10mins, our cake was gone. haha..

Then, we felt so embarressed cos other customers were like sitting for hours and here we are, completing the expensive pastry in just 10 mins..hahaha...PS to the max! [minus 1] I took a photo of the shop tissue with the table decor..ahh candle lights, so pretty in the night

Yes, we left shortly and walkeeeed all the way out again. At night my legs ached like mad. haha but was really happy i experienced everything that day. WOOHOO~ a once in a lifetime experience and with the pervertest Veron [gotta plus 100 for this fact =)] haha..so in totally, lets see...lets jus leave it at the fact that it is a huge positive number..haha..Thanks Perv for the evening and night! Love it =)

Knitting

Wow! this is the first time i've knitted in my life! It's really difficult man..put this, go there, turn around, up and down (repeat). haha but it's really fun..dunno if i still can rmb how to knit on my next lesson not haha =P Ok, so first lesson had to get these basic materials... -one pair of sticks -4 cotton ball ball This is my first knitting experience...heh heh heh

aye, but the teacher snapped it away and asked me to do a new one for the real piece..a scarf!

A trip to Sentosa.

Ok so on the last day of May 2010, I went out with Veron and my little sis to have a picnic (suggested by Veron the picnic queen). We were bored from our monotonous holidays and decided to have a break, have a kit kat! haha..We had bags-full of food and can't wait to start the picnic!
Here are some pictures while we were on the monorail going towards our destination. She insisted in taking photos with our food along the way, as you can see below....
Ok, this is me and my sis. This was a natural pose for me at the instance dunno why.

And this is our first group photo. They cant wait to have it taken on the beach...but I'm the one taking it (-.-) haha...

So, we started our individual pre-eating routines...

Had loads of fun eating the food we bought. I was sort of in charge of the drinks section and kept pouring water for both the lazy bums, who were busy targeting and fighting for the food they wanted to eat. Yes, it was a war out there! Eat, or be eaten. Muahaha~

As you can see, Veron bought some sushi. But...I don't think it's her usual food choice. Look at her attempts at picking up a sushi to take a photo..hahaha..and for your info, in the last photo, she managed to pick up the sushi which I had eaten half alr =X

YES YES YES! My favourite CHOCOLATES section! Here are some snapshots at the entrance of Universal Studio Singapore. My goodness, it's already so big and full of shops (and chocolates!) before we even enter the USS. I cant imagine going beyond the gate...awww so xian mu those that went inside b4!! Here are some defining moments I experienced at choco world!

At the casino. All the while I thought it was illegal to take photos even at the entrance of casinos because of the strict rules, but woo! we managed this. =) Haha, XQ must wait a few more years to be "officially" legal to enter a casino.

Shrek and Pixar!

Shrek was pretty nice, except that it's kinda short. But the storyline's quite interesting esp dialogue between donkey and puss in boots. HAHAHA, yes the "RE-DONK-CULOUS" and i forgot the cat's one. shesh! anyway pls tell me so i can write it here..haha

Ok, went to SINGAPORE SCIENCE CENTRE today with pepper. It scared us when we saw the swarm of kids over there. Luckily, they were there for some other lesson which will not be in tht PIXAR exhibition side. Phew! haha ok so we got the hybrid tix (again) and went to explore the PIXAR displays. OMG the drawings are like super duper nice!! They made me wana start drawing/painting again. Maybe i should request for employment at some animation company to improve my drawing skills to mayb one day "draw" like those pictures..oh lord, when will that day ever ever come?? =) haha..ok so change of subject(*random*), pepper gave me some stuff today..lucky it's not some stuff that involved the sense of smell (that thing stinked like toot can!) again..the presents today are much nicer..hope presents today will come often muahaha~
yup, altho one bookmark was so called the "ugliest" and pepper picked it ESP -.- for me. *Thanks uh!* Ok back to PIXAR topic..this is the brochure for SSC..it's actually the simplified version of Einstein's when he's young...

We played some olf stuff too, like the recording when u come out straight of the exhibition. (Hopefully someone played my recordings so they can know who's pepper's crush, RR is the most i can reveal =X) hahaha..we took a lifft w/o 2 walls! omg this lift is so weird! like litereally, the sides of the bubble doors are not linked to the lift. Diff to explain, u gotta take it to believe it. Yes, we visited "pandora" and i even 'connected' myself to the 'Giant Hometree' and tried to download info on wadever the Na'vis were d/ling but I dont think i became any much smarter thou. haha. Ahhh, i miss avatar 3D =( hope the 3D movies come to SSC soon! Ok, so I had tons of fun and chunks of pictures for entertainment today. I'm so looking forward to my next trip to SSC + exhibit =) Oh and I forgot to mention, a new star was borned today (in me and pepper's mind). I shall hereforth award this guy the "top fav quoter of the exhibit" award becos his name appeared on loads of quotes at the exhibit. haha.

Yes i'm officially sick! =( went to the doc jus now and she prescribed me one of almost every common medicine..hais..why am i always sick when i hav outings???

ok so ytd, went out wif pepper and my pri sch fren, XQ. i watched iron man 2 with pepper. ah, the narratives with kinda messy with so many people talking at once. Summor they speak v fast, so it was like e.g. "#$%^&* you*&^%^me". Yup, and we stayed all the way till the end of credits to watch the extention which i guess many pp missed. It was not much thou, probably will be repeated in Iron Man 3. Yup and we went to eat late lunch and look wad i had!
Yup can u see what i'm trying to capture? Yep it's the green "rose". Cool huh. It's a nice touch but i dont think the auntie planned for it this way either. And i captured this photo while pepper was unaware. haha.

Yup and ltr XQ came over to my hse. We initially wanted to have a starbucks-outing and chatting session but I was not feelin so well so had to change plans. It was a good session nevertheless =)

Ok, so i'm bloggin again aft sucha looong time =) woots!

Today, my father flying off to shanghai. hais, wanted to go there wif my fren de budden got special sem den the tcher say any missing lesson will be counted to grades, thus failing the mod. -.-" anyway, hope he buy more stuff for us! haha...

Went prawning with my sisters...ahh there were soo many people!! but we decided to fish anyway cos alr travel all the way there. We manage to catch something thou but cos my sister find it such a hassle to bring the stuff home, we decided to do some charity and gave it away. muahahaha, i'm not gonna say how many we caught thou, leave u ppl in suspense. haha.

And another thing which made my day was ROBIN HOOD! ok that show was super long. and i was kinda sitting quite in front so aft the show th neck abit suan. but overall it was a nice show. the archery esp, whew wheet! make me feel like learning too. budden singapore, hais nth much to shoot. hahaha. yes another part which i like is the horse riding part. i think it's super cool to ride horses. the horses look so pretty and huge! haha..

bought choco from airport today. omg it's super chocolicious! the brand's sorini, u guys shld try it too! =)

lalalala...hello!! haha..sorry very long nv post...ok ytd was my prom night =) first prom yeah~ haha it's kinda like any other dinner but for my age de people..haha..it was fun la...got sharks' fin summor *yum yum* haha..the gals always had to go toilet every now and den cos we drank too much water and our dress u know...very the tight one =P heh heh..and den after prom we gotta 'post prom' thingy at Gotham Penthouse at Clark Quay area *wheet whew* haha really very funny..it's like the whole dancing floor only SR people and den they like kinda 'over' high? hahas...but they're the sporty ones cos they will join in and dance =) den we still got the one for one jug of vodka+soft drinks all these..so funny we still play chai quan..heng i not bad so never drink so many times =) i stayed till like 3plus den go home..wah super tired!! haha..but fun experience..once in a lifetime the club house kena own by SR students u know..haha! ok i'll update with pics soon k =)

STEPS TO CREATE YOUR VERY OWN MOONCAKE! Step 1: take out a rough estimate of the 'skin' u prepared. u'll need 20g.

Step 2: Ah! 20g exactly ^^.

Step 3: roll the dough into a ball.

Step 4: press the dough into a moon-shape and start preparing the paste. u'll need 40g.

Step 5: ooOO..exactly 40g again >o<

extra step for pre-schoolers: See..they must total up to 60g.

Step 6: place the paste onto the prepared 'skin' and wrap the paste.

Step 7: fold both sides.

Step 8: put it into the shape u want to make. for me, i chose 'pao' shape.

Ah, my yellow bun. (suits* peh)

Step 9: *ta da*!

Step 10: taste your creation *yum yum*

today i went to watch movie with ohno! sao, jun sao and jam sao

hahas..the ah soh gatherings..altho $10 but i tink very sweet and so...worth it! =) guys should treat girls like jun! and i realised the girl's name is 'mao'. hahas..den they keep saying this mao that mao de..plus ohno! watch le den cannot walk straight keep banging into people..haha!

Rui acting is also not bad =)

We celebrated my friend's birthday (the one on the right) at new york new york restaurant! the service there not bad(5stars) haha..the managerS serve us of course..yup and not to forget one waitress who helped us take this photo is very friendly too =) nice job...yup and i ordered the speciality, the meatball noodles..woah the meat balls very big..see below...

haha plus i called a root beer..the cup oso very big...i think this can be called the 'super-size' restaurant le..haha..we bot the birthday girl a balloon and some other stuffs..but the balloon most outstanding..haha..ok so for my christmas celebration this year..pls read on =)
